There are four ways to change a student's trajectory: donate, mentor, volunteer, or enroll a student. Every contribution — of time, expertise, or resources — directly expands what's possible.
Freedom of Choice – Education Initiative is a nonprofit organization incorporated in the State of Texas. Our application for 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status is currently pending IRS determination. Contributions made during this period are accepted in good faith.
Upon approval of our 501(c)(3) status, donors who have contributed during the pending period may be eligible to claim their donations as charitable deductions to the extent permitted by law.
Mentorship is not a soft benefit. In under-resourced communities, it is the structural substitute for what high-income peers access through family networks. A mentor from a target career field communicates, in ways a brochure cannot, that a given pathway is possible for someone who looks like you.

Our volunteers are the backbone of our program delivery. From event support to academic tutoring, there are meaningful ways to contribute your time and skills to our mission.
Event Support
Help coordinate our workshops, campus visits, and career expos.
Academic Tutoring
Provide one-on-one or small group academic support to enrolled students.
Administrative Support
Help with data entry, communications, and organizational tasks.
Marketing & Social Media
Help us tell our story and expand our reach in the community.
